Christian Formation's leadership conference

by Christian Formation Department

The Diocesan Christian Formation Department is hosting its third annual Christian Formation Leadership Conference at All Saints' Center in Leitchfield April 18-19. The conference will begin with dinner on Friday, April 18, followed by the Bishop Ted Gulick’s address to Christian Formation leaders. The evening will conclude with hospitality time around the fireplace and evening prayer.

On Saturday, April 19, a dozen workshops will be
offered in three sections. The workshops include
"Going Green at Church," "Best Practices for a Vibrant
CF Program," "Episcopal Mission Exchange,"
"Stewardship and the Episcopal Church," "Children at
the Table,"  "Choosing the Best Curriculum for Your
Parish," "The Bible and the Imagination."

Do you work in a classroom with young children, help with the
teens or lead adult formation classes? Do you
supervise volunteers or plan community events?
Whatever your role, you will find workshops to nurture
and inform you.

Registration forms and workshop schedules are
available on the Christian Formation Department page
of the Diocesan Web site, www.episcopalky.org. They
will also be offered at Diocesan Convention. Register
NOW to get your first choice of rooms.  If you have
any questions, please contact one of the CF chairs
directly or by phoning the Diocesan office at
1-800-222-DIOC.
