Loading...The Transition Committee is planning to honor the ministry of Bishop Ted Gulick with a special celebration and the presentation of a memorable gift, for which donations are now being collected.
The celebration will begin at noon with Eucharist, baptism and conï¬rmation, followed by lunch and
the presentation of the gift in appreciation for his 16 years of service to the Diocese of Kentucky.
Instead of giving Bishop Gulick a personal gift, however, the committee, following his wishes, wants to purchase a cabin in Gulick's honor so the new bishop of Kentucky and his family will always have a place to stay when they visit All Saints.

Arrangements are being made for online giving (check the diocese's Web site later next week) but donations also may be sent by mail. Checks should be made out to Trustees & Council with"Bishop's Retirement Gift" in the memo line and mailed to Betty Blodgett, St. John's Episcopal Church, 1620 W. Main St., Murray, KY 42071.
The transition committee has made an appeal for donations to cover the cost of the cabin and site preparation, which will be about $50,000, and additional funding to establish a small maintenance fund for the cabin and to cover the cost of the reception.
