Loading...Calvary Church will hold a service of Choral Evensong at 5:30 p.m. (EST) on Wednesday, February 2, 2011, celebrating the Feast of the Presentation of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Temple.
The choir will sing musical settings by T. Tertius Noble and a Nunc dimittis by Louisvillian Chester Alwes that was written especially for Calvary Church. After the postlude, a short service of the Holy Eucharist will be celebrated for those who wish to make their Holy Communion. Calvary Church is located at 821 S. Fourth Street in Louisville.
