Collegiate Chamber Choir performs at Advent

The Rev. John Hines, interim rector of the Church of the Advent in Louisville, welcomed guests to a Sunday afternoon concert performed by the Louisville Collegiate Chamber Choir. Jan Tedesco was the conductor, and Therese Mattews was the accompanist.  The April 22 performace of sacred and secular music was organized by Courtney Howell Kidd, Advent's senior warden. 

The Collegiate Chamber Choir recently performed in New York at Carnegie Hall with preeminent composer John Rutter. Lemonade and cookies were served by the vestry on the church lawn after the performance with white azaleas in full bloom.
