- November 16 at the Home of the Innocents in Louisville, 1100 East Market Street
- November 17 at the Berea Friends Meeting House in Berea, 300 Harrison Road.

These identical events start at 9:30 a.m. and end at 2:30 p.m. (EST). Lunch will be provided at no cost to participants.
The training program is sponsored by the Kentucky Coalition for the Abolition of the Death Penalty (KCADP) in conjunction with the Kentucky Council of Churches (KCC) and the Catholic Conference of Kentucky (CCK).
Presentations will be given on the following topics: “Overview of death penalty situation in Kentucky” by Don Vish of KCADP, “What to say” by Anne Holsinger of the Death Penalty Information Center, and “How to contact public officials” by Pat Delahanty of the CCK.
Discussion and work sessions will focus on particular situations in participants’ own communities, how to network and stay in touch, and models for local action. Take-away resources are being prepared for participants by Kaye Gallagher of the KCADP. Opening and closing prayer will be led by Marian Taylor of the KCC.
