Loading...St. George’s Community Center is pleased to announce its upcoming Celebration of Success & Lillian Yeager Community Service Awards. This year’s Honorary Chair is Darrell Griffith. The celebration will take place at the Brown & Williamson Club on Thursday, October 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. (EDT).
Tickets cost $40. Come enjoy live music by the Jerry Tolson Quartet featuring Robin Shaw, a silent auction, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a brief awards presentation.
Silent auction items include week long vacation stays in a condo in Aspen Colorado and at the Isle of Palms Beach House in Charleston, South Carolina; autographed sports memorabilia; tickets to U of L and UK games; and gift certificates to restaurants, hotels and other entertainment venues. Photography and other works of art done by youth at St. George’s Community Center will also be showcased at the event.
Presented during the event will be the Lillian Yeager Community Service Awards, which recognize citizens, community and business leaders and St. George’s Community Center Alumni for their volunteer contributions and commitments to community service and leadership in the Louisville area.
