Nelson County interfaith service set Oct. 12

Interfaith Paths to Peace and Sisters of Charity of Nazareth will host their annual Interfaith Service on Peace and Justice in memory of Thomas Merton, Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King, Jr. on Sunday, Oct. 12 near Bardstown. This is Nelson County's sixth annual service sponsored by Interfaith Paths to Peace and the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth in cooperation with the Kentucky Council of Churches. It will begin at 3 p.m. (ET) at in St. Vincent de Paul Church on the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth Motherhouse campus (just north of Bardstown on Highway 31E).  This service is free and open to persons of all religions as well as those not affiliated with any religion.
