NEAC.org features expanded content, new resources, blog commentary and news. The redesign incorporates a completely new site design, with new ways for those interested in AIDS ministry to share their voice. The new website aims to:

Raise AIDS awareness in The Episcopal ChurchGeneral Convention Resolution A163 mandates that Episcopal committees, commissions, agencies, boards, Church Center staff take the web-based, self-directed tutorial on HIV/AIDS. The resolution also strongly encourages diocesan staff and leaders and all active clergy to do so as well. These quizzes can be taken from the home page.
In addition to the quizzes, NEAC now offers a significant increase in resources to those in HIV/AIDS ministry. These resources are labeled by category and then tagged by subject for ease of use. Executive Director Matthew Ellis said, "I think the new resources we offer are exciting. We continue to add more, but at this moment we offer nine different toolkits developed by groups from around the country. I am not aware of another site that gathers these different toolkits in one place, which I think will prove to be an incredibly valuable service to both the church and the larger HIV/AIDS community."
The site provides opportunities for others to connect through a new blog with comments, as well as the ability for visitors to comment on news stories. The News section spotlights recent news relating HIV/AIDS ministry, treatment, stigma, and more. Matthew Ellis believes this will give a sense of increased connection, saying "I'm hopeful that by seeing what other AIDS ministries are doing, those in ministry will feel more connected to each other. If we can help share ideas across the church, maybe that will inspire some who want to be involved but are not sure how to get started."

In response to those in our church living with HIV/AIDS and to the growing community of those affected by AIDS – caregivers, partners, friends, and loved ones – the National Episcopal AIDS Coalition (NEAC) was formed in 1988. Today, AIDS continues to spread in spite of treatment breakthroughs. NEAC continues to provide support for HIV and AIDS ministries across the Episcopal Church.
CDC estimates that more than one million people are living with HIV in the United States. One in five (21%) of those people living with HIV is unaware of their infection. Despite increases in the total number of people living with HIV in the US in recent years, the annual number of new HIV infections has remained relatively stable. However, new infections continue at far too high a level, with an estimated 56,300 Americans becoming infected with HIV each year.
More than 18,000 people with AIDS still die each year in the US.
