The diocese's Department for Justice and Jubilee will have new faces in the Jubilee and United Thank Offering (UTO) divisions.
Jack Hanstein has been designated as the diocesan Jubilee officer and will coordinate the work of Jubilee ministry. Hanstein lives in Mayfield and is a member of St. John’s Church in Murray. He was the Jubilee officer in the Diocese of Northern California when he lived there and was a member of the National Church Jubilee Advisory Committee from 2003-06.
Lana Goodwin Black was appointed as the diocese’s UTO coordinator. She lives in Brandenburg and is a member of Holy Trinity Church.
Mary Abrams, a member of St. James Church in Pewee Valley, continues to lead the diocese’s Peace and Justice Division, and the Rev. Jim Trimble will also continue to head our Episcopal Relief and Development (ERD) Division, both divisions promoting the Millennium Development Goals in the diocese.
