The package contains a DVD of the diocese's first post-General Convention forum, held last week (July 28) at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Louisville. Each church in the diocese should receive its DVD in today's mail or early this week.
Bishop Ted Gulick and four convention deputies (the Rev. Pat Connell, the Rev. Amy Coultas, Sam Dorr and Debbi Rodahaffer) report on the major accomplishments of the 76th triennial gathering of Episcopalians and answer questions during the one-hour and 38-minute forum. It was attended by about 60 Episcopalians, most from the metropolitan Louisville area.
The diocesan office, with the help of volunteer videographer Rhody Streeter, filmed the forum at the request of a priest whose congregation is located in the central part of the diocese. The DVD presents the entire forum (except for the brief time it took to change tapes).
