St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Hickman, Kentucky, is one of 53 churches to be featured in Historic Episcopal Churches Engagement Calendar for 2010.
The calendar, the last in a series of 20 to be published, features one church from every state and the District of Columbia.
According to the announcement, the collection of churches was picked to show the diversity in the Episcopal Church. Several were founding during the colonial period, several during the 20th century, but the majority of churches were built during the 19th century.
St. Paul’s, Hickman, formed in the 1840s. was the mother church of Episcopal congregations in western Kentucky.
