Trappist poet to read at cathedral

Brother Paul Quenon, a Trappist monk at The Abbey of Gethsemani, will read from his published and unpublished poetry at 7:30 p.m. (ET) Thursday, Sept. 10, at Christ Church Episcopal Cathedral in Louisville.

 

Brother Paul has published three books of poetry, most recently, Monkswear,
with Fons Vitae.  He has lived 50 years in Gethsemani, where he
is currently the cantor for worship and serves the community as a cook.
