WANTED: Workers for ICE House

St. Francis in the Fields Episcopal Church's Habitat team, working with teams from the Jewish and Presbyterian communities, is looking for volunteers from other Episcopal churches to join with them in building a new home, a project they refer to as the ICE house (Interfaith Community Effort).

"We really want to encourage the faith community, EPISCOPALIANS from all parishes, to support by volunteer work on project!!!!!! We need a steady stream of workers," he said in an email note.

The project's Raise the Roof weekend will be Oct. 7-9, occurring the same week as World Habitat Day on Oct 4. For more details about the project and contacts, visit their website at //habitat.facultyzoo.com/.

We are not asking for money!!!! We are asking for something more valuable.

We need you to come work with our team on the ICE house. Come by yourself or bring a friend or family member. Your son or daughter must be 16 years old.

Just let me know when and how many so we can make sure you have a great experience.
