Loading...On April 17 and 18, the Diocese of Kentucky is once more offering the wardens and treasurers of our parishes an opportunity to meet together, share ideas and learn what's happening in the world of leadership and finance.
Gathering time for the conference will begin at All Saints’ Center at 5 p.m. (CT) on Friday, April 17; Bishop Ted Gulick, the opening speaker of the conference, will begin his presentation at 7. The conference will conclude at 3 p.m. the next day.
Other presenters during the weekend will include the Rev. Canon Joan Smith, addressing the question of sexual harassment of lay employees; David Brooks, chair of the Department of Finance and Stewardship, who will discuss audits and parochial reports; and the Rev. Dr. Tim Mitchell, rector of the Church of the Advent, who will report on a conference on stewardship the diocese held jointly with the Diocese of East Tennessee. Betty Blodgett will speak on the mission funding application process.
